do you know when the japanese came to taiwean in 1895 to rule the
island, they thought Mt Fuji was highest mountain in the Emperoro's
lands....but when they came to taiwan they found out that Mt Jade is
higher than Fuji-san and they called it in Japanese then and even
today Ni-taka Yama....NEW HIGH Mountain....... interesting!
today there is smog, cannot see the mountain or the snow., TOO MANY
CARS and CO2.....sigh
Hello Daniel,
Wow! The view of Mt. Jade with snow on the peak is beautiful!
From my room, we can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day.
